We have explained the difference between dieting and intermittent fasting, and the benefits of each below.

1. Difference Between Diet and Intermittent Fasting

Intermittent Fasting: Most of you don't know what intermittent fasting is, it can be defined as a circle of intervals between healthy eating and fasting. Usually, the time period in intermittent fasting is practiced for 16 hours a day with a window of 8-hour eating. If you are fasting, you will consume water only, Some people use black coffee so they can lose some weight. When you are intermittent fasting you will observe that the level of insulin is dropping significantly which results in a fast body mechanism of fat burning. The cellular repair process in the body is also boosted.

Dieting: Dieting can be explained as a process to eat food on regular basis, so you can maintain and decrease body weight. It includes drinking and eating selective food products. It helps people to control their cravings for food and less amount of food intake consumption. Dieting is often followed by people, who have the motivation to lose, maintain or gain weight. There are four types of diets.

1. Low amount of fat diet

2. Low amount of carbohydrate diet

3. Low amount of calorie diet

4. A Very low amount of calorie diet

These diets are effective if you want to lose weight and transform your body. Food and water are present in this diet program. It helps you to eat well and healthily. You consume more protein and nutrients.

2. Structure and Working of Intermittent Fasting

When you are intermittent fasting. it doesn't depend on what you want to eat. The main question is when. These days, people like intermittent fasting because you don't need to think about the amount of food you are about to consume or count its calories and nutrients. Just eating at the right time according to the intermittent fast schedule will work just fine, but you should remember that the quality of food will influence your health. If you binged on junk food during your eating window, will not be as useful as eating loads of greens and proteins for weight loss.

3. Why Intermittent Fasting is Better?

If you feel that you are tired of relying on sugar products and counting calories, then intermittent fasting is the best suitable option for you. It is completely different from dieting.  You need to hold to the scheduled eating windows to see any positive results. One of the benefits of intermittent fasting is that there are more ways for you to work and adjust the timetable if you feel that is necessary. Intermittent fasting helps you to lose weight. It's the same case as dieting. But notice that if you have any health problems or medical conditions, You definitely need to consult with your doctor before taking any step further. If you are a patient with low sugar levels, if you are not going to eat for a long period of time, this can cause low blood sugar levels and it can be dangerous for you.

4. Warnings for Both

If you are a patient with low blood sugar levels, It can lead to some dangerous issues, resulting in symptoms of hypoglycemia like shakiness, fatigue, and headaches. It can also be resulted dangerous for those who have a past of eating disorders, as Intermittent fasting may stimulate unhealthy behaviors and symptoms. Dieting and Intermittent fasting should be skipped by those who are suffering from missing gallbladder and hormonal conditions. Dieting and intermittent fasting should also be strictly skipped by pregnant females, or they need to breastfeed a baby. If you feel any mood swings or negative changes in your behavior. Then intermittent fasting might not be the best option for you to weight loss.

Why Intermittent Fasting is a Better Option?

Intermittent fasting has been utilized throughout the human past as an efficient process of regulating weight by increasing energy and cleansing the body. By contrast, the section which controls the strategy of daily caloric restriction has only been confirmed for the last 50 years with nearly universal frustration. We all know if you don't eat for a long time you will be hungrier. It’s not in the control of a human it’s a hormonal fact of life. The level of ghrelin increases and you feel hungrier. Intermittent fasting does not increase hunger. This is why it has become a way of life for so many people. Calorie-restriction diets ignore the biological principle of homeostasis, the body’s ability to adapt to changing environments. The same process applies to weight loss. Your body adapts to a constant calorie plan restriction by slowing metabolism. Victorious weight loss requires something that produces the best environment for your body to utilize its stored energy.
